Swimming by the Stepwell

Children play in waters off of a stepwell in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The stepwell, called Toorji ka jhalra, was built in the 1740s, and remains a popular destination today for tourists and locals alike. Your Shot photographer Shyam Prasad S. explains, "The architecture of this stepwell is so unique and the water is so clean that many come to cool their bodies and head back into their busy lives."
