Rockhopper Penguins, Argentina

This Month in Photo of the Day: Animal Migration Photos

Rockhopper penguins such as these on Argentina’s Peninsula Valdes gather in large colonies to breed following months at sea. They return to the same breeding ground, and often to the same nest, each year, and usually seek out their previous year's mate.
