Solar Flair

Your Shot photographer John Barton wanted to shoot a scene using a water flash, but he knew it would take teamwork, and a lot of patience. "The signal on my radio transmitter was being stretched to its limits and would only trigger the flash 50% of the time and fire a single burst," he remembers. "With only a minutes of light left, the colour popped behind the clouds, surfer and swimmer linked up and I captured this unique moment."
