Pure Joy
Your Shot photographer Anna deCarteret snapped this picture while spending a few months at an orphanage in Bukoyo, Uganda. "While collecting corn for dinner, this woman caught my eye as she watched 23 children pass, marching up the hill outside her home," she remembers. "My camera was hanging on my neck as I reached down and clicked the shutter, without looking or aiming.
