Photographs have the power to evoke wonder and whimsy in those who view them. This week I found myself enamored with images featuring fun layers, pops of color, and quiet moments that could have easily been overlooked. The Your Shot photographers always show us bits of the world we wouldn’t have seen ourselves each week.

While walking around Toronto, Gary Zeng saw an owl spying on him. I can’t get enough of the extreme layers Zeng used to emphasize the owl’s gaze as it watched him through the trees. I love when a photograph moves me to laughter. It’s a pure joy that I hope others share.
