After 38 continuous hours of traveling through America’s south, Andrew Evans

has arrived in Houston and is taking a well-deserved break for the day

(and taking the opportunity to catch up with his folks). Throughout the

trip so far, he’s been sending off his colorful and poetic missives on Twitter @Bus2Antarctica and has already amassed hundreds of followers and fans (one actually went and met him

at the bus station in Baton Rouge). He’s talked with soldiers and dreamers, party kids and parents, and is giving us all an incredible look at American life. And he’s told me that the bus trip has been made even better in large part to the song
