Coming Up: Holiday Celebrations Around the World Twitter Chat

Join @NatGeoTravel on Twitter when we will discuss holiday celebrations around the world!

The holidays are about family, New Year’s resolutions, cozy dinners, warm fires, and, of course, travel. There’s no better time to go on that long-awaited island getaway, visit the snowy beauty of St. Petersburg, or wander Prague, or explore a local national park. This time of year is the brightest and most giving of all seasons.

Join the discussion with Annie Fitzsimmons, our editor at large for Traveler magazine and our first and only Urban Insider. She has been around the world and has a special affinity for holidays—especially when related to travel! She will be sharing photos of her favorite holiday celebrations.

During the live chat, @NatGeoTravel will pose six questions over the course of an hour. Fitzsimmons and members of the National Geographic family will discuss their favorite holiday celebrations, share photos from their trips, and answer questions. We hope you will join in the discussion too by following along with #NatGeoTravelChat.

Be sure to share your own thoughts and travel stories. We will be retweeting our favorite responses.
