#FriFotos: I’m Only Sleeping
We could have gone any number of ways with this week’s #FriFotos theme, FALL. Fall as in autumn, fall as in waterfall. But what about fall as in fall asleep?
We couldn’t resist this adorable photograph of a soon-to-be-snoozing arctic fox that Halfdan Helgi Helgason managed to capture on Bear Island in Svalbard, the northernmost part of Norway.
These hardy animals can survive temperatures as low as -58° F, owing in part to their thick tails, furry soles, and a coat that changes with the weather (this fox is well on its way to a full-on winter white).
Thanks to Halfdan for submitting this sweet shot to our My Shot community!
