Monday: Virtual @NatGeoTravel Photo Workshop
Go on assignment with National Geographic Travel’s director of photography Dan Westergren in Montana, and get real-time tips about how to get the shot…in the snow.
Dan’s out in the field photographing the natural majesty and rich cultural heritage Big Sky Country has to offer this season–from scenic drives and charming mountain towns to snowshoeing and dogsledding across wintry wonderlands.
During this Google Hangout On Air, Dan will be meandering around the winsome mountain town of Whitefish, in Montana’s northwest corner, highlighting the places and faces that make this Big Sky gem unique.
Nat Geo Travel staffers Jonathan Irish, Carolyn Fox, and Tyler Metcalfe will be joining Dan from our HQ in Washington, D.C.–along with photographer and lifelong Big Skyer Donnie Sexton from Visit Montana. We hope you’ll join us to find out what the locals do in Whitefish–and up your photography game!
