National Geographic LIVE

“How do I get a job like yours?”

That’s what most of you ask me when you write me. (The rest of you ask if I need an assistant.)

Lucky for me, I already have lots of terrific people assisting me (but thanks for the offer!) As for how I ended up in this job and the many adventures it entails, I’ll be talking all about it at my upcoming National Geographic LIVENational Geographic LIVE event entitled Digital Nomad.Digital Nomad.

For any of you who are interested in meeting me in the flesh and hearing all about my adventures over the past year, I invite you to come on down to National Geographic Headquarters in Washington, D.C. on December 7th at 7:30 P.M.

During my one-hour talk, I plan on relaying a bit of my Bus2Antarctica story as well as revealing some of the more amazing experiences I’ve had on the road. I’m really looking forward to this chance to talk about what it’s really like to be out on assignment as National Geographic Traveler’s “Digital Nomad.”

So come (if you can)! Tickets are $20 ($18 for members) and you can purchase them online here.

I am so grateful for all of my friends online who’ve been traveling with me for so long. I do hope some of you can make it!
