Traveler Photo Contest, Week 9

Time is running short to submit your best travel photos to the National Geographic Traveler Photo ContestNational Geographic Traveler Photo ContestNational Geographic Traveler Photo Contest–the deadline is July 11. Entries submitted after June 28 are subject to an additional fee, so get your photos in quick! First prize is a 14-day expedition for two to the British and Irish Isles aboard the National Geographic Explorer. Other prizes include a ten-day trip to India and admission to one of Traveler‘s intensive photography workshops in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

View the current entries to peruse the more than 5,000 photos so far in the categories of Travel Portraits, Outdoor Scenes, Sense of Place, and Spontaneous Moments. You can also solve puzzles, get desktop wallpaper, and vote for your favorite photos. Be sure to check out the previous winners from last year’s contest, and see how your photos match up!
