#nomadlife: Twit Chat with “the Andrews” on Friday

What’s life like when you’re a nomad? Here’s your chance to get inside the minds of two of National Geographic’s favorite wayfarers, our resident Digital Nomad, Andrew Evans, and Andrew Skurka, an Adventurer of the Year alumnus.

Join us for a live Twitter chat with “the Andrews” this Friday, March 2nd (don’t forget — it’s Leap Day today) at 3:00pm EST. Just follow @andrewskurka, @wheresandrew and @NatGeolive to connect with us. Use the hashtag #nomadlife to ask questions, or simply follow along.

About Andrew Evans:

From being buried alive in Japan to dogsledding in Canada to indulging in Creole cuisine in New Orleans, Andrew Evans’ line of work is enough to make anyone green with envy. Right now, he’s in Mexico tracing the steps of the Maya and diving into the blue cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula (he had to rappel through a tiny hole into a cave full of bats before hitting the water). Not everyone would welcome this kind of life, but at least every day holds a surprise.

About Andrew Skurka:

Audacious athlete, author of The Ultimate Hiker’s Gear Guide, and someone we’ve described as “a superman among trekkers,” Andrew Skurka is the ultimate adventurer. He’s backpacked, skied, and pack-rafted more than 30,000 miles — that’s like circling Earth’s equator 1.2 times — through much of the world’s best backcountry. He’s also famous for his long-distance solo backpacking trips — like his recent 4,700-mile 6-month Alaska-Yukon Expedition.

So don’t forget to tune in this Friday at 3:00pm EST for a live chat with the Andrews on Twitter to find out how they do it.
