On Your Mark, Get Set, GOOD!

We’re sending one of our most popular bloggers, Aric S. Queen (the first person to see Machu Picchu in 2012 and the man who brought you “The 10 Rules of Packing“), out on the classic American road trip to uncover uncommon stories of everyday people who are bringing change to their own communities.

He’s The Good Traveler, and we can’t wait to see what he digs up.

After taking off from National Geographic’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., Aric will head south down the East Coast, then zag west to L.A., live blogging about who he meets and what he sees on the open road.

Where he stops along the way is anyone’s guess, and we’re counting on our readers out there (that means you) to guide him to the “good” — good people, good food, good places, and good times — wherever he goes.

The adventure begins this Monday, May 7th. Follow Aric’s journey on Intelligent Travel, Twitter @GoodTravelerNG and Instagram (@GoodTraveler) to get inspired, to be entertained, and to give him advice about what he should see and who he should meet as he blogs his way across America.
