This year, as Pure Michigan celebrates its 20th Anniversary, a trio of inspiring storytellers were tasked with reimagining the iconic commercials that helped define the Great Lakes State and capture its spirit through the seasons.

For winter, director and filmmaker Aaron Jones set out to show the world what makes this Michigan a true winter wonderland. A proud Michigander who grew up inspired by the original Pure Michigan campaign, he saw the chance to reimagine the beloved spot titled Snow Day as a full‑circle moment—honoring the past while showcasing the beauty of winter in Northern Michigan for a new generation.
