Which National Park Should We Add to Our App?
Our National Parks by National Geographic iPad/iPhone app has been getting rave reviews from users all over the world, and just took top honors at the Apple Design Awards (along with two others) in the iPhone Developer Showcase category for “setting new standards that inspire us all.”
In this free app, we showcased the 20 most popular national parks in the U.S. — from Joshua Tree to the Everglades and Acadia to Zion. Now we need your help to decide which ones we should add next.
Each park guide has all the information you’ll need to know before you go (or while you’re there) — interactive maps, rare vintage photos, thousands of points of interest and activities, insider tips for getting the most out of your visit (including tips from National Geographic photographers), and more — and comes with a custom-designed stamp you can collect when you visit.
As promised, we’re working on adding new parks to the mix and want to hear which one you think we should pick.
Which park should we add to our app? Vote for your favorite out of these five stand-outs in the comments section below (the park that receives the most votes will be featured in the app’s next iteration):
- Denali National Park (Alaska)
- Badlands National Park (South Dakota)
- Hot Springs National Park (Arkansas)
- Canyonlands National Park (Utah)
- Big Bend National Park (Texas)
- Nat Geo Expeditions
