North Carolina

There was a fantastic golden glow cast over the dunes by the sun's last rays of the day. As it fell below the horizon, the sky took on an almost painted feel. We are treated to countless amazing sunsets here in eastern North Carolina, and each season offers its own feeling at sundown. These "painted" winter sunsets are still my favorite.
