Why It's Worth It

A modern-day boomtown, Orlando is a vibrant destination where sports, culture, technology, and tourist attractions debut regularly. As 60,000 new residents and 68 million visitors arrive each year, this Central Florida hotspot is burgeoning beyond the theme parks. The 68-acre digital media-oriented Creative Village is under construction, and Orlando recently gained the already-expanding Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, 100-court USTA National Campus and Orlando City Stadium, soon home to two new soccer teams. —Rona Feldman
