LIFE IN CANADA IS...
15 DAYS
3 NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PHOTOGRAPHERS
1 YELLOW RV
Their mission? To discover what life in one of the most beautiful places on earth is really like.
THE PHOTOGRAPHERS
Three of our most compelling photographers hit the road in a bright yellow RV to capture the sights, people and moments that touched them as they explored what life in Canada is really like.
- AMI VITALE is a photographer, writer, speaker and documentary filmmaker who is passionate about wildlife, women as a force for change and truly living every story she captures.
- MATTHIEU PALEY has traveled the world for National Geographic. Focusing on diverse regions, cultures and environments, he is also passionate about food and its provenance.
- KILIII YÜYAN illuminates stories from the Arctic and communities connected to land and sea. He has survived stalking polar bears, and found kinship at the edge of the world.
THE JOURNEY
Our three intrepid storytellers began their 15-day journey in Prince Edward Island–oyster and lobster fishing before heading off to Lennox Island and Charlottetown. Then on to Newfoundland and Labrador to explore Gros Morne, then all the way through to the first sunrise in the Americas at St John's.

THE ROAD MOVIE
Our three photographers experienced so many meaningful moments on their 15 day adventure. Here's a taste of their favorites.

What is life truly like for the regular Canadians who live in this remarkable part of the world?
