a blooming cherry tree in Japan

Floral Fantasy

Delicate blossoms and a light haze seem to lend a bit of softness to the twisted, moss-furred branches of a cherry tree in Japan. “The cherry blossoms [look] like a Japanese painting,” writes Your Shot member Katsuyoshi Nakahara of his photo. “The smoke of a bonfire of old paper charms [brings] a fantastic effect.”
