DowntownSan Francisco is so much fun to explore from above. With the bridges, coastline, and downtown, there is much to take in from a bird's-eye view. If you are shooting the city from a plane be sure to talk to the pilot about the weather, as many days the fog rolls in before sunset.
Meet Your Guide: My name is Aya Okawa and I am a photographer, visual anthropologist, and a member of the Your Shot photo community. In my photos I explore California and beyond, documenting cultural stories and natural transformation both on the ground and from above. I love San Francisco for its unique culture and its accessibility to the coast, redwoods, mountains, and deserts all within a short drive. From architecture to natural abstracts, there is much to explore and photograph here!  Follow Aya’s work on her website and Instagram
