The traveler's tree (Ravenala madagascariensis) is native to Madagascar. Despite its name, the tree is not considered a true palm tree but rather a giant flowering plant. The image is part of photographer Charlotte Yonga's project, "(Tsy) Possible," which documents how intimacy is shaped by the social and geographical landscape of Madagascar.
